Eastern snow 02:52
Everything isn't an ocean away you've got to get up to decide for your day the school bell's ringing and there's money to be made I keep telling myself that I'm lucky to be saved i've been saved oh I can feel it but I know that it's not me oh how if I believe it then it's real beneath each sneeze They've got rooftops, we've got mountains they're both covered in snow from the peak of every rooftop to the river below they're pouring all the concrete over all that we know Oh I'm surprised at the tired ways we try tell us our life's worth more than a flower show all our kids what it's like to have to die Through the coastal mountains there we drove to the plains our windy afterglow to the winter snow blowing through our clothes great lake swimmers, freezing to our toes city lights leading to Toronto can you tell me where i'm going 'cause I don't know point somewhere and I'll be home

Can you go for a walk? I have gone for a walk let's have some tea and talk soon this month has gone so fast like every messaged passed but I'll tell you first This is the only time, to sleep under stars and suns so go in the morning and wait till the pouring begins to look alright your tired eyes turned to light only for now can you weep Go down to touch the ground to feel each move, it sounds like we're getting much better at this oh we're getting much better at this I know we're getting much better at this

Explorer 02:56
I can't remember the explorer's name in this world we live we commemorate the age of their discovery the newspaper glowed always red but the fire instead wasn't like the rest There's a crow peaking on the window ledge he's going through that angry/upset feeling that we all experience The pillowcase is upset now, it hasn't had a match in five more years it could be dead because it's lonely Propellor has some tasty beer I like it better when I sip it here but on another night, maybe it's not so right It's better off that way 'cause when I'm stuck in the wind and it's a quarter to three and I don't know why i'm seeing all the faces I know in the chorus of the street

Following stars I couldn't see who you were until you found me Sister dear I saw your face in the mirror right behind me When you're this far away sometimes I forget how we were raised You built a cabin in the woods back on the Island maybe a letter comes today You followed the road miles and miles It brought you back home building wood stove fires When the winter comes it will get cold and dark real early Have your cats grown bigger so they can warm you in the night with their purring One day we'll meet real soon We'll get together in the morning and we'll share some food When the evening lends it's warning I'll know what to do I'll play you this tune You followed the road miles and miles It brought you back home miles and miles farther from me when I'm in the east I'm in the east

True north 02:28
you came from the true north I jumped back and forth to tell you that I really missed this smile I could hold it up for days Haven't worked in a while got my clothes in a pile I hope this weather stays You came from the true north I jumped back and forth and I looked to the sky and smiled with my eyes with these wrinkles I'll come clean and we try not to lie try to keep a disquise but the devil's face is green I'm sorry that I couldn't be a better friend I'm sorry that I couldn't be a better friend ...........
